Don’t Miss This Once In A Lifetime Event!
Author/Illustrator, Denise Fleming Coming to Evergreen
Elementary
Tuesday, February 28; 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Meet the wonderful author and illustrator, Denise
Fleming Tuesday, February 28, 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the
Evergreen Elementary Cafetorium. She has written and
illustrated many children’s books including: The First
Day of Winter, The Cow Who Clucked, Buster Goes to
Cowboy Camp, and a plethora of others. Ms. Fleming will
talk about her books and how she creates the
illustrations. She will also read her books the way they
were meant to be read...with incredible zeal and whimsy.
After the event be ready to have fun and get messy! You
can create paper art with colorful, gooey paper pulp
similar to the technique used by Ms. Fleming. Ms. Martie will
guide you as you make your own handmade paper creation
to take home.
A limited number of books will be available for sale the
night of the program. If you have any Denise Fleming
books of your own, she will be available to sign them
during the craft portion of the evening.
This program is made possible through financial
collaborations including: Evergreen Community Library,
Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center, Evergreen
Elementary, Evergreen Elementary Parent Association,
Gleaners South Fairfield Arbor, Metamora State Bank, and
the Theresa Tredway Memorial.
Come dance, sing, and learn with Denise Fleming!
