Ready to Read Bags

If you are a parent, grandparent, or caregiver of a toddler or preschooler, you are already helping them get ready to read! Did you know that the Library has designed kits to aid you in this challenge? In February, these bags and their contents will be shown in a display case.

See what fun things we have for you and your child to do together! There are books, Lunchbox Games, Don’t Break the Ice Letter Edition Game, and other interesting and stimulating activities in each bag. If you are interested in checking out a bag, you may reserve your week to take one of these kits home. Please inquire at the circulation desk. Remember, we learn as we have fun and we have fun as we learn!

Holy Trinity’s
Family Literacy Night

Pajama Party with the Pigeon
Wednesday, February 15; 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Pigeon is having a slumber party and you’re invited! Children in preschool through fourth grade along with their families are welcome to wear jammies and come ready to party with Mo Willems’ characters; Pigeon, Piggie, Elephant, Hot Dog, Duckie, Puppy, and Knuffle Bunny at Holy Trinity’s Family Literacy Night.

Everyone in the community is welcome to come to Holy Trinity School and engage in fun crafts, games, and activities. Find out if Duckie ever gets a taste of the elusive Hot Dog in Ms. Martie’s latest reader’s theatre. Be ready to sing some campfire songs and get a little zany with the Mo Willem’s gang, Ms. Martie, and the Holy Trinity teachers.

Have a taste of Hot Dog with a little ketchup and mustard! Hot dogs and chips will be served for everyone in the family. Reservations are required for this free event by calling the Library at 419-644-2771. Holy Trinity students are asked to return their reservation forms to the principal, Mrs. Justen.
